Kanaka Conciousness

Ka po’ele’ele a ho’ohui I ka hoku

My stars align just for you you stick to the mother like celestial glue could we say we rose from the depths like a rock hard shell rose it’s flippers right up from the grail to inhale, grow a tail to tell tales of what came from someone who was nailed and crucified for speaking there mother tongue it was my great grandparents who were hushed and in a rush to assimilate to a society that catered to the haole how we have been duped in a coup and the man made us subsided from the primordial soup of righteousness that this land shall forever be perpetuated in.

he Hawai’i a mau a mau ike a kiha will run thoroughly throughout town to one day be precious, to one day be true to one day hand a clue to the keiki that look like me and you we ran in our makahiki games and huki and huki unto we arose victorious from all our ancestors giving us the mana to be glorious.

We must plant our Kalo and tell our stories that follow to call out and spit to swallow like the mud covered wahine who loves her sand covered kane that found purpose on this land we call Hawai’i nei.

This crest I bear on my skin is a reminder of my ancestors that rose to find words to accumulate at a rate to speak it into existence what lies at the straight gate.

Pi’ilani, pehea oe kanaka, e oe I meha a nana oe?

The lizards are antiquated from their mouths they presperated on a rise to power that was belated hold up the sharks, we related and the birds, we mated in the lush valleys Io has created the pahu as been grated the sound that comes from it is great it’s the heart beat of a nation that lived in the perspiration of ua that told stories of creation how we arrived right on time to place this story in the ground that has been growing since the tradition of the stillness of motion came to our shores from a far away ocean.

Can we talk about the po’ele’ele the mysterious creatures that formed in the deep the dark ones not to be named with raptorical features that existed omnipresently in the shadows to then rise to the occasion and chance the shallows.

Think of all the nameless things that exist in the dark, they brew in the heavens, if we play our part,

A Kanaka secret?

We knew from the start.

Let the Menehune knock at night o’clock they trod through forest without hard socks mix them some awa to induce a lovers rock.

Let the night marchers March through our moku to luku anything that wasn’t purified by Kumu. Let them roam free, for the trees move, it needs to be felt you’ll hear the night marchers come from the pū of a shell.

Let the uhane roam freely in your being let them stay before the chest is pressed and they cling to apart of you that should have died the first time you said “enough” of this view.

The consciousness of Hawaiian diamonds burning bright on Leahi had us slicker than oil  on a giant puhi

Maika’i nui mano feast on your spoils like how the sunlight gets absorbed in my lucious brown coils.

We learn the ancient ways we learn the stories of our ancestors before our ancestors before our ancestors for them be the glory.

We rise with the morning sun, and give thanks to our morning star, Hoku Loa can be seen as close not far soak these bars in a Kanoa with some niu water this flow ha breathe in the souce and turn up to aloha and make these hands work my ohana will live forevermore and perspire like the rains in manoa this awa is a testimony

to the diamonds that come out of the wata.

Dark is the night that reflects us,

Akua is the one that protects us,

Awa and blood is the thickness that connects us.

A people connected by water, not separated,

As the morning star rises,

So shall the darkness in its reprises.

Great Lizard

Lizards,

Something profound about tapping in to that reptilian sound on the east side of Maui is where you’ll find Hana as the Mano chases the wa’a hungry for a dish that is chased by none other than the awa to consummate what would become kiha wahine the celestial motha.

Dinosaurs as old as I can remember had me as a member since before I had a member in November is where the weather gets wetter and I send a letter to my better interwebber that would trace it back to our roots in the Metu neter.

The calamity of this proclivity in the pleiades is staggeringly important as our sons carry fourth the seed to carry out what some may call Gods deed, a need to resurrect myself in my sleep where I dream dreams of caressing the kalo leaf and loving my brother like the beef the Indians don’t eat, neat is your ability to create through the void and summon and command yourself to pelt pieces of recent kinswomen starseeded through the ether to one day rise up to train cats to play with feathers like YO WHAT happened I’m not mad but astounded and glad that my people can entertain their cats and collect feathers when they’re being cleaver.

Profound is the sound that comes around to say o kiha I ke ekahi ku pō and we say wow sit down and give me mo,

Well

What about the kumulipo?

Okay well,

it was 14 billion years ago when a thought was transformed to ergo matter and grow to collide with the solid side from nothing to light then to darkness to sparkness the clouds opened a meeting while the gases were teething and the drum started beating then creation started creating to form the ko’oko’a, wai and the mere feeling of a being adorned with clelestial bling you know the honu don’t feel the sting they just chomp down and swallow because coming to shore would be soon to follow the fish wallow in the fact that they didn’t make it to see the shores but the depths of the ocean is never a bore from rock to shell called out nothing more but to yell into the night making noises and music  as the popoki nears in sight then the birds take flight just look at their eyes frogs to lizards to birds to cats this line ups got a crazy act to the fact that the honu flies through the ocean yet doesn’t have feathers to the cat that can’t swim and doesn’t like to get wetter, to the crocodile who returned to the ocean to be with the honu, to the sharks that go deep meditating in the dark blue, to the sands of my birth that came forth for me and you, you see the tide directs the land into figure while 8 planets in the sky shine as their moons take a ride and rotates the shape that is used to create the shape of the figure 8s we call the Hawaiian islands like a lion we cultivated pride on this Hawaiian roller coaster ride. We say “ladies first” and let me tell you why, immaculate conception was the norm before the guys that dyed their destiny red in this wahine nui homestead. Matter cracked open and let chaos seep through the canyons through each dimension did souls travel down the banyan as life was toiling on where would be man dem. To come out the water and slime up the beach tells me that I had to put on cleats and ku’i the beats as starships waited in their fleets for i and I to fall drastically in a Jurassic of a period and slowly

We rise and fall with the tide.

The Travelocity velocity of the velociraptor tenacity made his big toe the contractors plasticity to dig into his prayer for God to evolve him into something that could write poetry and take sick photos of the skies.

I’ve just told you

How it went when we were wet,

While you caught catfishes on this internet,

I bet you five dollars and an iced tea Allah would dwell in the depth of the sea

And on the moon!

Soon she’ll make room into a cocoon and sweep away loons that don’t want to see the flowers bloom.

Righteousness soon,

Bound to the Tithes that make the thunder go boom.

Talking to my ally the allosaurus about how spinosaurus finally grew a spine to try the rotisserie optrex with lime to flex in front of slime the gamimasaurus who only uses aunty jemima on her waffles, pour up, some say dinosaurs aren’t real and the Cretaceous period has plot holes but I say what was in the water to make those pot holes what was in the rain that gives you so much pain what do you gain from discrediting great lizards that ruled the world for the majority of earths time we’ve only been her a mere second according to the celestial climb, dinosaurs roared and kept the score of how much smoke meat would come from a boar and said yeeeheee to a ferocious mosasaur who took sharks out down to the core.

The mo’o’s that flow through the koko swim upstream like the ko’olau teams with life and strife and the water cuts like a knife to China mans hat they say it’s a mo’os tail way back in time it was cut off like the back of the Mo’o can be seen at the H3 don’t scoff.

Pause,

Stories of these lizards have existed since before the white man came and persisted, so our mo’olelo was fisted and my brothers and sisters enlisted in that army in that fight for our right to take flight and we might just make it back to the days where lizards ruled with cats and frogs long before the days of the dog.

The limu in an imu would have the smoke sesh irie we were chewing on that seaweed since before the pirates came to our shores and decided to preach their white God lore, the store sells awa and durags tell me when you sip it is there taint in the bag or do you start dragon it across the bottom of the bucked two cups down clap clap and ola you’ll just have to suck it down and figure out why the mo’o has a favorite wata and it is the awa.

I pray the skies rain this mud and the world would be under this awa spell that would help the world come to the realization that aloha and a hawaiianized nation was this kanakas plan since creation we need this because people try to fill up their teslas at the gas station and would rather kick rocks than stay in iration.

I am the dinosaur that roars with the lion,

As haloa grew so did the consciousness of the kanaka, who traveled far and wide using the stars to guide as the birds fly and the wind cries while consciousness rained from the sky and ask the lizards how goes the first guy.

There are many stories of supernatural lizards visiting and residing in Hawai’i long before settlers came with their knowledge of Quetzalcoatl or the nomo or dinosaurs in fact,

It is best not to forget that this world was once ruled but giant lizards.

Since the beginning the kumulipo says we stepped in a heavenly stylin,

From our oldest ancestor the coral,

To the birds that took flight to reach the heavens where life fell from,

I say,

Aloha.

The People Could Fly

So when I say check I want you all to say check back to make sure the message is received.

Check?

I am under the impression that we were kings and queens in a past life.

With our kingdom long gone and history forgotten we digress into heathen customs and hedonistic ways.

How can you call my black skin offensive while God mixed every color together to get the darkest source in the known universe.

I think they call it black matter,

does my life matter?

Hey batter batter swing for the fence my black youth,

and correct them every time they get your name wrong or every time they ask to put their fingers on your hair like no this is not a petting zoo and I am still king of this jungle.

In Hawai’i,

if you don’t know,

Hawaiians called black people pōpōlo because their character reminded them of the sweet black pōpōlo berry that has a woven nit made with insurmountable wit.

Pōpōlo is what my people would call us, it is not a slur although less melanated people have used words like pōpōlo, black, and negro to be derogatory and cut down a dynasty with a small axe listening to the music made by the very people they inadvertently insult!

Good God!

How far have we strayed from what once was.

Are we lost?

As I see the white man kill my brothers and sisters in cold blood in the streets as I see my brothers and sisters kill each other in cold blood in the streets I stop and wonder and ponder why would a loving God do this to us?

Are we not worthy of your love?

It states in Amos 3:2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.

For all of our shortcomings God said that only people he knows are the people that he would punish the most like a father correcting his child for their erroneous ways.

May we abide in true righteousness like our fathers before us.

My Lord, what must we do to end this hell brought on by all forces and sources,

I know you have a plan,

tell me,

What news is there from the cheetah clan?

I know if we keep following you father God, you will lead us to still waters, and a loving sun and moon where the wine flows like the rivers in Waimea and the food is effortlessly provided like an everlasting cornucopia of pleasantries and treats, any Capricorn would attest to that.

We have been made strong and the most resilient rubber band man to ever face the faces of the earth and after 400 years of the white man sticking his foot up our asses religiously he still can’t figure out why we haven’t dissipated into nothingness like no you can’t kill darkness darkness consumes all,

so stand tall,

wall to wonder wall.

Heavens just a phone call,

Away,

Which is why we play,

For those of us that didn’t make it to see the day,

For those who didn’t make it through the night,

For those of us who chose the sea,

For those of us who were resurrected,

For the ones that they would call the expendables.

I see greatness in your eyes so don’t think for a second they can replace you with someone who had your likeness, you could imitate but there will never be an original like us.

Black love brown pride two sides of the same coin in unison unconditionally that will never be usurped by users using there useless tricks and ticks to undermine a black and brown utopia.

My love for my people expands beyond words and actions, I have a duty to you that is saline to the sweet and savoy salutation that comes with saving the sacremented sequence of the same side of this coin that is being constantly flipped in my head relaying a message of whether or not I should weather the storm, or ask questions later.

I use words like love daily and multiple times a day, aloha is the way,

One way or another we’ll look back and think,

What if their was another word to say?

I’m not only interested in perpetuating language but creating a new one, where communication is commonly found in the funk amongst those who abide in aloha and kuleana.

I will pull from the source and find you a new word my love.

Only the best for Gods people.

Didn’t I say all colors come from black.

Why are we the lowest social group in this chicken coup,

where all some of us could afford is tomato soup,

and we shoot first and ask questions later like alligators,

can you not eat our babies please.

Maybe we can be friends.

Yet some of us continue to stick our golden phalluses into unknown boxes and my sisters run to our oppressor in hopes he can offer you something more

He can’t offer you anything child.

And she can’t offer me nothing but hell and horrors.

I had to find this out the hard way.

And molded these ideologies out of the clay that we come from like a ceramics scientist.

Still we trod on into the night and smoke our herb and drink our liquor and spark our stogies knowing that the almighty one the hero the divine cloth will wipe the tears from our eyes and place a crown on our head saying you did it child.

I have always loved you.

Strive for greatness,

Let the moonlight shimmer on your skin and let the sun reflect all the greatness that is you.

I know you black child have thoughts you don’t quite understand and you speak a language that many are not familiar with.

I know.

One day,

One day,

We will be unified like the one nation under God we were bred to be.

Wear your ring,

Wear your crown,

And show them why God made you black man woman and child to be the greatest spectacle the universe has ever seen didn’t we make those pyramids as a sheer erection of our power?

A lot of cultures around the world have made pyramids for their various Gods and cultures to display the glory and power of their holy places.

So I say pyramid and mound builders unite.

From Giza to China to Mexico to Nag Madol to North America to Peru to Hawaii to Rapa Nui your ancestors thank you thriving brown beautiful people for your contribution to the zeitgeist of a millennia so long ago.

Let’s consciously restore these places and their names and gather together and create a new temple, a new heiau, a new spectacle of the mind where citizens from all across the galaxy can absorb our perpetuation.

I feel,

and don’t get it twisted,

that this month is more than just recognizing black liberation and history,

But it was a step in the right direction for all indigenous and brown cultures to gather a renowned sense of pride to remember who we were so that communities can say that my black and brown skin is important and we will not be erased from history.

Black people were just the first ones to stand up.

We just need to remember.

Remember.

Do you remember,

From the revolution in Haiti,

to Martin Luther king,

from Malcolm X,

to the tyrannosaurus Rex,

we will not be quiet and our voices will be heard.

and roar like the mighty lion,

and fight like the ferocious tiger,

and be as witty as the prestigious cheetah,

and be as majestic as black panther.

Our voices will be heard like the lighting making contact with the earth below and our voices will be heard like the thunderous roar soon to follow.

To be black is language,

we are able to create a whole nother lexicon with people in our communities and focus groups and make your catchy catch phrases and Instagram captions.

Race this paste on my teeth so I can brush on the mental states and grapes I aint talking fluoride.

They called wine the drink of the Gods in the Bible and for two thousand years wine has not went out of style.

It’ll help you flow you know.

Speaking in tongues is an indigenous specialty like the coolest thing you’ve ever heard hits your ear for the first time everytime

Parking lot synonym.

The act of relating a life even to the likeness of finding parking in a busy parking lot is like how all of us find our place in this world.

Used in a sentence,

Black people finding themselves in this world is an ancient parking lot synonym.

The mystics will tell you that you come here to go through trials and tribulations to prove ourselves to the divine whole.

Can I get a check on that.

Why isn’t anyone studying that the second most illiterate demographic in the US is coming up with our new lexicon and Instagram captions for the world.

Check..

You know, Hawaiians had the highest literacy rate in the world at one point in history.

Check.

WHat happened after,

It’s close to a mystery.

Look it up, I'm serious we were the most literate nation in the world being bi and trilingual in our spaces.

But as with many great things in the past we must remind ourselves where we’ve come from so we can put forth where we’re going.

I’ve learned that Life’s about saying “why me” and then spending your journey here figuring out why.

After all I’ve done in my life it is FAVOR that kept me afloat and kept me worthy of Gods love.

You may say “why me?”

You, because you are the best person to do what you do and how you do it is immaculate, don't let what I said go over your head.

So what do we do?

We create, that’s exactly what we do.

Just doing our part in preparing ourselves for heavens gates.

You may ask,

what can I do to support black people all year around 24/7 and how can I be an ally ?

Well it’s in the question,, support us!

Have empathy in the fact that we have all went through hardships and it is the darkness of the space between us that connects us.

Allow our creativity and structure to blossom.

All we ask is for your love and acceptance and we will fight for you as I know our allies would do the same.

Black people have shown up in solidarity to stand up for injustices committed to every other marginalized group out there knowing that the crimes committed against them will not be wished or made on anyone ever again.

Like I said we were the first ones to stand up.

I promise if you stick around black people long enough you will be blessed beyond belief so I bless you when I sneeze.

We’re almost to that mountain top,

family we are almost home,

zones are where they’ll get you,

and beam you up like a bone to make you brand new, keeping you safe in this Jesus Christ curfew.

From the stories told of us, for the stories not yet known, I rejoice that my brothers and sisters all around the globe are delving deeper in their ancestral stories. It’s as if we are putting the awe-inspiring inspiration of our great predecessors in our future keeping them around keeping them in mind.

Mankind shined,

And he drank his patron with a hint of lime,

Just to say hola mi amigo a donde eres tu?

And we would reply not from here.

Although our dwelling spaces are focused we are not limited to this permitted existence while death is just a stimulation and no I would not call it a simulation.

With our bold features, black skin like the darkness of space, and our hair that defies gravity that can be molded into literally any styled tenacity,

we had to have been aliens.

Like think about if the deeper you go, the darker it gets,

Wouldn’t you find black people in the deep?

Depth perception is needed when dealing with a bad case of amnesia and a fairytale like Fantasia.

She’s my pretty lady,

Hair like a lion,

Spotted like the stars in the sky just got freshly dotted.

Twinkle for me righteous woman.

Let them wonder why.

Did you know the people could fly?
